Black Student Leadership Caucus

The Black Student Leadership Caucus offers the opportunity for black student organization and leaders to voice their opinions about campus programming, event planning, effective leadership, and role modeling. The members of the Black Student Leadership Caucus represent the black student population on campus. They work collaboratively to create a holistic experience that focuses on academic, professional and personal success.

Brothers Overcoming Negativity and Destruction

Brothers Overcoming negativity and Destruction (B.O.N.D.) assists multicultural males in becoming role models for the community, promotes individuals to achieve success and sets a new standard and image for the urban male in today’s society. B.O.N.D. upholds the principles of:

  • Promoting male pride by self-enrichment and self-education
  • Providing general academic, social and leadership support for males by incorporating all aspects of student life
  • Establishing leadership to provide political and social change on the University of Miami campus
  • Promoting academic achievement in the classroom as well as increase knowledge of self-outside the classroom
  • Removing all negative stereotypes associated with males by maintaining a positive image
  • Serving as exemplary models for males on campus and in the broader community

Speak What You Feel

Speak What You Feel (S.W.Y.F.) is a student-run organization that focuses on gathering people who are interested in all forms of poetry for social, practice, and competitive purposes. Our main focus is spoken word, but we encompass dance, painting, drawing, writing, music, photography...any and ALL forms of artistic expression!

Unity Roundtable

UNITY Roundtable brings together student leaders from the diverse cultural groups that the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) works with. Meetings are held every month and provide an opportunity for students discuss issues pertinent to the multicultural community, such as career planning, collaborative programming, support and guidance for multicultural student organizations, leadership development training and sharing of knowledge and resources.
